Travel Fundraiser for Scholarship

Does all the travel you see others doing this summer start to fire up your own enthusiasm?
Here’s how to travel from July 20, 2024 to August, 2 2024, taking a wonderful trip to Portugal and Its Islands--and at the same time, making a difference to a Portland State student.
“How can that be?” you ask.
As part of a long-standing relationship between Collette Travel and RAPS of Portland State, for each person who signs up using the website included below, Collette will contribute a 10% commission to the RAPS Scholarship. If you sign up by the deadline, you get an early payment discount. These benefits also extend to friends and family who are not RAPS members.

The Scholarship Committee also offers national and international tours as a fundraiser for the scholarship fund.
The RAPS Scholarship Committee is working with a well known US tour company to sponsor group trips. A portion of the trip fee is donated to the scholarship fund. We will plan one group trip per year. These trips are open to all, not just to members.
If you don't want to travel on our next trip, you can still help the scholarship fund by planning your own destination. The tour company offers trips world wide. Contact the RAPS office to find out more on the "Group of One" option.

October 2022 Two RAPS Trips!
Autumn in Vermont & Spotlights of Boston
Both tours began and ended in Boston. The Boston trip highlighted both historical and modern Boston. The Vermont trip focused on the autumn colors, but travelers also saw historical sites such as Fort Ticonderoga and Lake Champlain.
September 2019 Eastern Canada!
This week-long trip treated traveler to the best of Eastern Canada. Starting in Montreal, the tour included Quebec City, Ottawa, Rockport, Toronto, and concluded with a cruise to the base of Niagara Falls.
November 2018 RAPS in Italy!
This 13-day tour took RAPS’ travelers to iconic cities and unforgettable sites that define the rich history of Italy: Rome, Pompeii and the Sorrento Coast, Capri, Tuscany and Florence, Venice and the island of Murano, Verona, and Stresa.
